We have Gamestop (GME) as the leader again in the wallstreetbets (wsb) most mentioned stocks for the last 24 hours. CPI is one of the words in the new entries list. The Reddit group members were monitoring the US Core CPI data for March which was released earlier today and it came in above expectations at 0.3% vs 0.2%.
In terms of biggest movers in rankings, we have AMD climbing 17 places to number 4. We also have Nvidia (NVDA) as a new entrant in position 5. Intel (INTC) comes in at 20th place.
The reason behind this is that NVDA unveiled a new CPU and this will increase competition in the CPU market. AMD and Intel were trading lower yesterday as a result of this.
Johnson and Johnson (JNJ) is also among the new entries. Their covid vaccine has been paused in the US.
