Earlier today the Dow dropped more than 500 points. It found some support at 28100 before the 28000 handle. It's also trading below the 100 day simple moving average, before the US markets open.
Overall sentiment for the day so far has been risk off. Safe haven assets such as gold were trading higher, with the precious metal breaking last week's high of 1680.30 and setting a new high for the year.
